The picture below shows larger front and back views of the (2) Different Old Unused Earshaw Drug Company Store and Soda Fountain Linen Post Cards in this lot. These postcards are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1940s. At the time the postage was one cent to mail these. These were made by the Tichnor Brothers of Boston, Massachusetts. The location is in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. One card pictures the Drug Store area with departments such as VITAMINS, PRESCRIPTIONS, MENS TOILETRIES, TOBACCO, PHOTOS, and more. There are many glass cabinets with shelves full of products, medicines, toys, and gifts. There are many hanging signs including REXALL DRUGS and SALE signs and banners. The Soda Fountain card has booths, a diner counter with stools, a Waitress, a cash register, a candy & gum counter, soda fountain, customers, and more. These are very nostalgic images of the past.
