This whistle is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. This particular mouth flute is embossed “-TOUGUE- LIPS LIPS SIMPLEX FLUTE”. The Cracker Jack ID number is Z-0423 and it was from The Silverman Jobbing Company of Chicago, Illinois. To judge the sizes, the larger of the two whistles measures about 1-1/2'' x 1-1/2'' x 3/4''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
