The picture below shows a larger view of all (66) Old Western Cowboy Related Gum Ball Machine Miniature Toy Prize Charms in this lot. This is an accumulated lot. There were many different Cowboy toys that were used as radio, cereal, and gumball machine prizes from the 1930s to the 1960s. There were many items that were also used and giveaways by Cowboy heroes such as The Lone Ranger, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers and more... Items were also used as rodeo souvenirs, circus souvenirs, carnival prizes, five and dime store toys, or more. Often these charms were sewn on to hats. These particular plastic charms were used as toy prizes in 1950s and 1960s gumball machines. These are generic cowboy or not character specific charms. They have Cowboys, rodeo cowboys on horses, revolver guns or pistols, good luck horse shoes, and cowboy boots. These charms are not marked and the makers are unknown. They are all made of plastic. They were made so that a stone could be applied. Vendors most likely had to pay extra for them. Some of the silver ones actually have the stones applied. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the blue cowboy charm in the bottom row measures 1-1/16'' tall. Almost all of the charms appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
