The picture shows the cover and some sample pages of this ©1942 Gum, Inc. "America's Army" Book. The images are great and I wish I could show all of the pages.

This (70) page book has (65) pages of United States Army images. Below each is some information. The images are from old World War II era bubble gum trading cards. The book is like a set of cards. The card sets that the images are from are believed to be Uncle Sam, Home Defense, and War Gum, and maybe even Horrors of War. There are both color and black & white images. The title page reads as follows:

AMERICA'S ARMY
Edited By Shepherd Knapp
Cover Illustration By Herbert Rudeen
Research and Inside Illustrtions By George Moll
Rand McNally & Company - Chicago
Copyright MCMXLII By Gum, Inc.
Copyright MCMXLII Under International
Copyright Union By Gum, Inc. All Rights Reserved
Printed In U.S.A.

The following is a long list of the titles for the images included in the book. I am including this list so that you may know what trading card images are in this book. There are many very graphic images.
