The picture shows all (25) Small Dutch Related Items in this lot. The back of the plate is also shown. The delft items are believed to be from the Netherlands, Holland, or Amsterdam. The ages of these are unknown. The small plate has a sailboat on the water with birds and wind mills in the background. On the back is a place for string to hang it. It has a crown, another mark and reads as follows: DELFTS - HOLLAND. W.2/P. There is a small ashtray that has a wind mill, birds, water, and a floral pattern. On the back there is a crown and it reads as follows: HANDPAINTED DELFTSBLAUW 501 There is a bell with a wind mill, a home, birds, bushes, and what looks like a fern leaf on the back. There are no markings on this one. There are three small delft charms with wind mills. Two of them have an applied metal back that has a loop for hanging. The third appears to have had one but it is gone. That one has some writing on the back that reads "DELFTS HOLLAND". There are two machine embroidered cloth patches. One is of a Dutch Girl and the other is of a Dutch Boy. There is an old unused decal of a Dutch Girl looking over a fence. There are tulips in the image as well. This was cut from a larger sheet of decals. There s a crease. The rest of the items in this lot are charms and one clothing button. Almost all of these came from old gumball machines from between the 1940's to the 1960's. They are of Dutch Boys & Girls, Windmills, and one is of Dutch shoes with tulips in them. One is marked "EPPY". To judge the sizes the plate measures 3-1/4" wide. The items range from good to mint condition. |
