This Historic souvenir scarf came from the collection of someone on the Committees in Philadelphia for the Bicentennial Celebration in 1976. It had been packed away in an envelope ever since that time. This colorful advertising souvenir scarf is imprinted in patriotic red, white, and blue colors. There is the Bicentennial star emblem in the center with a 1776 - 1976 pattern around it. There are (4) Great Seal Eagles and a larger square with (4) blue stars and a repeated ''76'' pattern made up of smaller blue stars. There is a cloth tag that is marked as follows: 100% ACETATE RN 24784 MADE IN JAPAN HAND WASH SEPARATELY MILD SOAP OR DETERGENT LINE DRY COOL IRON This colorful scarf measures about 26'' x 26''. It is in mint unused condition as pictured. It has folds since 1976 that could easily be ironed out if desired. |
