The book was once loaned to a student. It was once the property of the School Department of The City of Worcester, Massachusetts. The book was copyrighted in 1939, 1941, & 1946 by Ginn and Company of Boston, Massachusetts. What first caught our attention is the great image of a young girl and boy playing a game of marbles on the cover. Inside this book are many colorful nostalgic images of great childhood subject matter. Some random pages are pictured. Images have kids playing leap frog, shoveling snow, sick in bed, swinging, produce shopping, old automobiles, having a picnic, old radio, school lunch with milk bottles, farm animals, grocery shopping, a uniformed nurse with a mumps quarantine sign, curling game on ice, ool lessons on a chalkboard, dairy milking cows, swimming with bathing suits at a pool, a tiger, boys playing baseball, sports, children at a lake drawing a sailboat, a boy photographing an airplane, a boy reading.
