| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Old Metal & Carved Shell Mother Jewelry Brooch Pin. The pin is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is not marked and the maker is unknown as well. The pin has ''MOTHER'' written out with a square wire and it is mounted on a colorful (in the light) carved shell heart. Also, hanging from the Mother is a star charm with a mounted dark birth stone. We have seen old advertisements offering these pins with your name on them. To get one you would send in your name, with a payment, or maybe as a premium with advertising box tops. This may also have been a souvenir item made on site, such as at an amusement park, Fair, boardwalk, or some other popular tourist location. The pin measures about 1-3/8'' x 1-3/8''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
