This is a large bulk lot that has been acquired or accumulated over time from many different sources. All of these are older items. There are far too many items in this lot to describe each one individually, but some highlights of the items included here are as follows: There is a 1932 Graduation Exercises of The Lawrence Grammar Schools. This four page document has the names of those graduating from the following schools in Lawrence: The Packard School The Emily G. Wetherbee School The John Breen School The Oliver School The Gilbert E. Hood School The John R. Rollins School The Alexander B. Bruce School The John K. Tarbox School There are (5) programs or fliers from The Lawrence Turn Verein Drama Club Players. The booklets are filled cover to cover with local Lawrence advertising and sponsors. These include the following: 1932 (flier) ''Sunnyside Hotel'' 1938 (booklet) ''Sunnyside Hotel'' 1939 (booklet) ''Turner Frolics of 1939'' 1940 (program) ''Turn Hall Follies of 1940'' 1940 (booklet) ''Follies of 1940'' There is an old German Concert and Ball program from Monday, April 18th. It is written in German and we do not see a year. Next is a 1938 wedding announcement at the Trinity Congregational Church. There is another 1938 wedding announcement at the German Presbyterian Church and with that one there is a reception ticket as well to the Merrimac Vally Country Club in Methuen, Massachusetts. There is a 1933 Lawrence High School class schedule postcard. Next is a 1941 business card on scrap book paper. It is from ''The House of Lee'' Chinese & American restaurant of Lawrence. There are (7) old advertising swizzle or drink stirer sticks. There are (4) colors from Harry Freedman Caterers of Lawrence and (3) colors from Bishop's Restaurant also of Lawrence. The last (8) items in this lot are photo negatives on a roll. These are 3-1/4'' x 2-1/4'' black & white images of a Lawrence, Massachusetts parade. There are marching bands, marchers, old cars, storefronts, and people posing by a car. All of the items that are pictured are included for one price! To judge the sizes the School program (upper center) measures 7-3/8'' x 11-3/8''. These items appear to range from good to mint condition as pictured. |
