The coins and the pinback button are dated (see below), but all of these are old. In this lot are the following items: There are (3) coins that include: 1920 Five Centavos Cuban Coin 1902 - 1952 10 Centavos 50th Anniversary Commemorative Silver Cuban Coin 1902 - 1952 20 Centavos 50th Anniversary Commemorative Silver Cuban Coin There is an 1896 Cuban Flag celluloid pinback button. This pin back button was one in a large 1896 collection that we had acquired. This one was probably from a tobacco or cigarette premium set. It has an image of a Cuban flag and in the back is a paper insert that is marked as follows: THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N.J. PATENTED JULY 17, 1894, APRIL 14, 1896, JULY 21, 1896. There are (2) full boxes of matches. The both have “REPUBLIC DE CUBA” seals on them. One is still sealed, but the other one broke. These have different colorful images on the two sides. There is an unused Cuban flag embroidered cloth patch. Next is an old white plastic advertising souvenir swizzle drink stir stick. It has a crown, a shield, and it is marked: M MONSEIGNEUR HABANA BEACON SIGNSTIR MADE IN U.S.A. There are (3) different old unused “REPUBLIC DE CUBA” postcards. The captions on these read as follows: HABANA, ALTAR EN LA IGLESIA DE S. FRANCISCO ALTAR IN SAN FRANCISCO CHURCH CUBA PAISAJE TROPICAL – TROPICAL LANDSCAPE HABANA: CALZADA DEL CERRO. CERRO AVENUE. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the top left postcard measures about 3-9/16'' x 5-9/16''. These items appear to range from good to mint condition as pictured. The two color post cards have some corner creases, and the other one has some age discoloration on the back as pictured. |
