The picture shows this 1942 Massachusetts State Council Convention Delegate Medal / Ribbon. I am not certain on this one but I believe this is a Union item. Please e-mail me and correct me if I am wrong and I will add to or chage my description. Beginning at the top there is a fancy brass frame pin with a paper insert that reads:

WILLIAM HARRINGTON
UMWA, LOCAL #12001
EVERETT (Massachusetts)

Hanging from it is a printed blue ribbon. Hanging on the ribbon is a gold medal with a logo and wreath. The ribbon is hard to read from the scan, it reads:

DELEGATE
5th ANNUAL
CONVENTION
V
WORCESTER
FEB. 28 - MAR. 1, 1942

The front and back of the medallion read:

CIO
MASSACHUSETTS
STATE COUNCIL
BASTIAN BROS. Co. ROCHESTER, N.Y.
PAT. 2120854

The ribbon / medal measures 3-1/2" long and is in excellent condition.
