The picture shows a view of all (3) United States Navy Seabees World War II Photographs in this lot. These are of the 53rd NCB. The location is unknown. Two of them are different group photos and one is of the cutting of a large cake. The first one has Officers and Enlisted men inside a building. One is cutting a large cake. The cake has flags on it. There is a plaque to the left with a Navy insignia and one in the front that has the 53rd NCB insignia. The second and third photos are similar but have different men. Tents and palm trees can be seen in the background. The bottom left one has a signed Naval Sensor stamping on the back with a hand written message that reads as follows:

Sand Seal in Co. ''D''
D. Co.
Am fifth from the left in the second row, just in case you can't find me dear. Sylvia is first from the right in the first row. Camera is facing the movie area. Post Exchange is in the back row to the left.

The photos each measure about 4-1/2'' x 3-3/4''. They are in excellent condition with some tape glue marks on the edges as pictured.
