The medal was most likely sold as a souvenir of the town9;s Bicentennial celebration. This coin is marked 9;9;STER 5559;9; on the edge. One side has an image of the famous Mt. Washington side paddle steam boat docked. There are people and a horse drawn carriage by the building. The other side has a sign and a sailboat. Both sides have the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the background.
