| | | | The picture below shows larger front and back views of this 1961 Kiptopeke Beach Virginia Chesapeake Bay Ferry Boat Schedule & Price List Card. This was effective on October 1. 1961. It states that “THIS FLEET OF SEVEN RADAR EQUIPPED SUPER MODERN BAY STEAMERS IS USED TO MAINTAIN FAST SERVICE.”. The ferry was used for passengers, horses, mules, bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, trucks, and trailers, up to 80 feet long. These included the following ferries: S.S. POCAHONTAS
