The prints on these puzzles are by the contemporary Artist Gig and was created in the 1960s when many Artists like Keane, Igor, Eden, Lee, Sherle, and many others were doing these big eyed or sad children, kitten, puppy, and animal art works. The first three puzzles are each missing one piece and the fourth puzzle is missing two. The image on the first one is of a young puppy at a ski slope waited for someone.The second one has a young kitten sitting on a chopping block with an ax and a wood pile behind it. The third one has a young kitten scratching on a closed and boarded up building. The fourth one has a young puppy tied outside of a local grocery store or market. There is printed fascimile signature on each of these and the boxes are marked as follows: GIG © ©1968 BY MILTON BRADLEY COMPANY UNDER BERNE AND UNIVERSAL COPYRIGHT CONVENTIONS They state that these are 500 piece puzzles but they are actually a little more then that. To judge the sizes, three of the boxes measure 9-5/8'' x 14-1/2'' x 1-1/2. The last one is a little smaller. As stated above each has a missing piece or two, otherwise the puzzles appear to be in mint condition as pictured. The second box is indented. |
