There are two pictures showing a views of this Unused Sailor Jack Cracker Jack Ceramic Cookie Jar. The first picture shows a front and back view of the cookie jar. All of the white spots seen in the picture are reflections from camera flash. The second picture shows the inner box, outer box, Certificate of Authenticity, and company letter. These Sailor Jack hand painted cookie jars were originally offered at a price of over $300.00 each. The cookie jar is in mint unused condition and the only time I took it out of the box was to take the picture. It was then returned to it’s styrofoam protected box. This is #181 of a production of only 500 pieces. The cookie jar is numbered as well as the outer box, and the COA. All three numbers match. The COA is also signed by W.M. Hamburg, C.E.O. of Happy Memories Collectibles, the makers of this cookie jar. This particular cookie jar is special in that it happens to be one of two hand selected cookie jars that was sent to Borden, Inc's Licensing Company for inspection and approval. The other one is in my collection. There is an address label on the outer box from Leisure Concepts Incorporated to myself, Ron Toth (a freelance Artist for Cracker Jack). During the production of this cookie jar, Cracker Jack (the product) was sold by Borden Incorporated to Frito-Lay, Inc. (a subsidiary of Pepsi Co.). This is the only licensed product that I know of that bears the copyrights from both companies. The cookie jar is marked "©1997 Borden" and the inner box is marked "© Recot, Inc. 1998". The outer box is marked all over and hand numbered on two sides. The inner box is white with an applied label as pictured. The cookie jar measures 13" tall. Everything within the outer box is in mint condition. The outer box has a little wear and tape from mailing. Very careful packing will be done, but I would highly recommend insurance on this one. |
