It is not marked and the maker is unknown as well. The pin has the name ''GLADYS'' written out with a square wire and it is mounted on a colorful (in the light) carved shell leaf. We have seen old advertisements offering these pins. To get one you would send in your name, with a payment, or maybe as a premium with advertising box tops. This may also have been a souvenir item made on site, such as at an amusement park, Fair, boardwalk, or some other popular tourist location. The pin measures about 1-3/4'' x 3/4''.
