| | | | The picture shows three views of this colorful ©1938 Little Orphan Annie and The Mysterious Shoemaker Big Little Book. Shown is the front cover, back cover, and the binding edge. This (430) page book was by Harold Gray and it is based on the famous newspaper comic strip character. It was printed in the U.S.A. and published by the Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. There are black & white illustrations every other page. In the back there are three pages of other Big Little Books advertised. These begin with ''The Lone Ranger and The Menace of Murder Valley'' and end with ''International Spy: Dr. Doom Meets Death At Dawn''. The book measures 3-5/8'' x 4-1/2'' x 1-1/4''. It is in very good used condition with some light wear to the cover as pictured. |
