The pictures below show larger views of all (22) Old World War II United States Army Soldier Photographs in this lot. These photographs are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1940s during World War II. The European locations are unknown. These were all found together and had once belonged to a U.S. Army Soldier. There are three duplicate photos in this lot. The first two photos are very interesting in that they have a very ghostly image of a Soldier. They were probably double exposed but the standing Soldier is clearly transparent in the image. The photographs show an unknown bombed area. There are ruins of buildings, rubble, a few Soldiers, an automobile, statues, homes, and more. If you can identify the location, please let us know. The photographs each measure about 2-1/8'' x 3-15/16''. They appear to be in mint condition as made, as pictured. |
