The picture shows an inside and outside view of this 1970 General Electric Christmas Card with (65) Signatures. This greeting card was found with other paper items from a family in the Boston, Massachusetts area. It is not marked as such, but the person was an employee for General Electric. The pine tree and stream artwork for the card was created, the people had all signed it, and then it had been mimeographed (copied) for everyone. It was to, and from, the Generator Department. Of the (65) signatures, many of them are of couples. Besides all the signatures, it is marked as follows: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM AND TO THE GENERATOR DEPARTMENT HGS 1970 THE DONATION THIS YEAR WILL BE GIVEN TO THE SALVATION ARMY CHRISTMAS FUND ... AND THANK YOU. - ORIGINAL S CARD - The closed card measures 4-1/4'' x 5-1/8''. It is in excellent condition as pictured. There is a small piece of scotch tape on the back from it being in a scrap book at one time. |
