The picture shows a view of this Large Unused & Boxed ©1974 American Bicentennial 1776 - 1976 Printed Linen Cloth Calendar. This Historic souvenir calendar came from the collection of someone on the Committees in Philadelphia for the Bicentennial Celebration in 1976. It had been packed away ever since that time and the box was only opened to photograph it.

The long gold and black printed box has patriotic scenes all over it and it was made to be mailed. There are ''To'' and ''From'' address areas ands a place for a postage stamp. It was never mailed. It is marked as follows:

KAY DEE HANDPRINTS
HOPE VALLEY, RHODE ISLAND
RN 15424
100% PURE LINEN

The calendar pictures two different American flags. In the center there is an image and information about the American Centennial Exhibition in 1876 in Philadelphia. It is also marked:

©1974 KATHERINE GOODWIN EVANS

The calendar has the (12) months of 1976. There is a wooden dowel rod and a cord at the top to hang it on a wall. Stapled at the bottom is an attached paper with additional information

FROM MY GRANDMOTHER'S SCRAP BOOK

This large printed linen calendar measures 29-1/2'' x 17-1/2''. It and the box are both in mint unused condition as pictured.
