The picture shows all (9) Nice Old Gum Ball Machine Prizes in this lot. These are from the 1950's and 1960's. The first one is a miniature Holy Bible. It is a stanhope type viewer. When held to the light you look in the bottom and can read the Lords Prayer inside. Next is a mechanical charm. It is a church that opens up to reveal a family inside. It is hand painted as made. Next is a Flicker Charm. It has a changing heart in the center and reads "I LOVE YOU" and "DO YOU LOVE ME TOO?". This is the same flicker that was used on toy rings. Next is a another Flicker Charm. It has a changing image of a clown face. I am not sure who the clown is. This also is the same flicker that was used on toy rings. Next is a charm with a military insignia. It might be of the Army Air Corps, or some other aviation insignia, or a sweetheart charm. There is a propeller on wings in the center. Next is a set of teeth. This has two parts. The teeth are copper coated plastic. After that there are (2) miniture trophies. One reads "WORLD'S GREATEST LOVER" and the other reads "WORLD'S GREATEST BULLY". The first one has a bit of paper on the back from being on a display header card. The last charm in this lot is a miniature Rocking Chair. on the bottom it is marked and dated: "S. EPPY ©1956" To judge the sizes the Flicker Charms measure 1" tall. These range from near mint to mint condition. |
