The first elongated cent has an image of a drunk man leaning on a Bourbon Street lamp post drinking from a bottle. Obviously this one is from New Orleans, Louisiana. It is marked as follows: BOURBON STREET BIRTHPLACE OF JAZZ The next one is an old souvenir from The Statue of Liberty. It has an image of the statue and is marked: STATUE OF LIBERTY BEDLOE ISLAND NEW YORK DEDICATED TO AMERICA BY FRANCE OCTOBER 20, 1896 Next is a 1966 Christmas elongated cent. It has an image of Santa Claus and reads: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR Next is an old Saint Christopher elongated cent. It has an image of St. Christopher holding a child and it is marked: ST. CHRISTOPHER PROTECT US There are (2) Christian or Catholic religious elongated cents with The Lord's Prayer. The last two in this lot are of Warner Brothers Looney Tunes Cartoon Characters. One has an image of Speedy Gonzales and the other has the Tazmanian Devil (Taz). These are Massachusetts amusement park advertising souvenirs. They are each marked: SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND These each measure about 1-1/2'' long. They are in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
