| | | | The picture shows a front and back view of this Old Boston Massachusetts Hotel Advertising Souvenir Premium Match Book Safe. The matchsafe is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s. It is made of old marbleized red and blue plastic. The image and wording are recessed and they are painted gold. A standard size matchbook fits nicely inside and the striker is exposed at the bottom. There is a scene on it with a horse drawn carriage, a driver with a whip, and a passenger in the back. They are at a lamp post sign at the corner of Boylston and Tremont Streets in Boston, Massachusetts. The rest of the old matchsafe is marked as follows: ''THE BREEZY CORNER''
