They are shown inside and outside of the wooden holder. The coasters are not dated and the year that they were made is unknown. They are believed to be from the 1990s or 2000s. The coasters feel like they are ceramic and there is cork on the bottom of each. The wooden holder has cork circles or feet on the bottom. The coasters picture military aircraft and a beautiful young pin up woman that were often used as painted nose art on the planes. The coaster are marked as follows: THE B-17 FLYING FORTRESS
