| | | The picture shows a view of all (12) Colorful Old Hard Plastic Novelty Toy Whistles in this lot. Some are single tones and others are multiple. Some of these resemble old Cracker Jack prizes but none of these came from the confection. These are not dated but are believed to range from the 1940s to the 1970s. There is one that looks like a pipe. It has a clown that pops up when blown and it is marked 39;39;COMMONWEALTH39;39;. There are two flutes. The green one is marked 39;39;CHINA39;39;. There are four airplane whistles, and a ship whistle marked 39;39;HONG KONG39;39;. There is a dog head whistle. There is a two tone whistle with a pencil sharpener marked 39;39;MADE IN U.S.A.39;39;. There is two tone whistle from Germany with a Native American Indian, bow, arrow, hatchet, and knife. The last one is a round whistle marked 39;39;SKYLARK PAT. PEND.39;39;. To judge the sizes the pipe whistle measures 3-3/439;39; long. These whistles range from good to mint condition as pictured. Some have scratches and/or teeth marks. The dog head has a broken ear. |
