| | | The picture shows the different card panels that make up these 1919 school photograph postcards. There are two of these that are identical in this lot with an additional photo. There is more information on the photos than is seen. The top of the photographs have a 1919 date and at the bottoms there is the word "BELMONT". All three photographs are the same. They are of a young girl holding an early school book in her hands. The cards have a 1918 copyright date. Each of the two cards is addressed in pencil in the child's handwriting. They are addressed to two different people in Belmont, Massachusetts. The cards are printed in color and picture a house with a pump in front, a pipe smoking man, a woman reading, school books a spinning top, and two young children leaving school. Closed, each of the cards measure 2-7/8" x 4-5/8". They are in excellent to near mint condition. |
