| | | | The picture shows a view of this Old Red Rose Tea Advertising Vari-Vue Flicker Disk With Chimpanzee. The year that this flicker disk was made is unknown but it is old. It is also unknown how it was originally acquired. It may have been a prize in a package of the tea. It also may have had a pin on the back at one time. As you move the disk the Chimp's eyes go from side to side and his lips open and close showing his teeth. The wording at the top remains the same but the bottom words flash. The front as follows: RED ROSE TEA

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. The disk measures 1-7/8'' wide. It is in fair condition as pictured. It has some spotting and some paper loss on the back where it may have been attached to something at one time. |
