The picture shows all (4) Old Tobacco Silk Premiums in this lot. There is a total of six different lots of old tobacco silk premiums in my items right now. Please be sure to see them all! I didn't try straightening out any of the folds for the scans. This lot contains silks from four different sets. The first one has a nice colorful scene of Native American Indians attacking Captain Cook with tomahawks. The caption below reads: 30. INVESTMENT OF QUEBEC BY WOLFE. CAPTAIN COOK'S ADVENTURE AFTER TAKING SOUNDINGS 1759. The second one pictures colorful flowers and below it reads: 38. HOLLYHOCKS The third one pictures a colorful Canadian Military Officer overlooking a stone wall. at the bottom it reads: 16. MONTREAL HEAVY BRIGADE GARRISON ARTILLERY The fourth one is purple and has a Canadian flag or crest with a bison or buffalo. It reads: MANITOBA None of these are dated but all are old. To judge the sizes the first one measures 5" x 2-3/4". All appear to be excellent but I do not know how to grade these, so please see the picture for conditions. |
