The pictures show a view of all (46) pages of this Old Herb Cooper & Orchestra Lynn Massachusetts Music Scrap Book. This book is filled with so many things pertaining to this band and its members. This book was created and owned by the bands leader Herbert C. Cooper. Many pages have layers of paper items that overlap and there are some loose items as well. There are many photographs, flyers, programs, dance cards, newspaper articles, advertising, cards, announcements, and much, much more. These are events and places that the band had played and the items were saved as souvenirs. A lot of the items inside are dated (see long list below) but they are not in chronological order. There may be a date, but if there is no year they are marked undated. The book starts with a note on the inside cover that reads:

''Started playing in orchestras 1926 age 16. Started piano lessons 9 years old. Studied Trumpet and pipe organ.''

The scrapbook measures 12'' x 14-1/2'' x 1-1/4''. The book has loose front and back covers. The items inside are in a variety of conditions as pictured. Almost everything pictured is pasted on pages.
