| | | | The picture shows a view of this Unframed Dyed Straw On Velvet Tropical Beach Art Picture. This picture is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is not signed and the Artist is unknown. We say that it is made of straw, but the tiny pieces could be grasses, palm leaves, or even slivers of wood glued to the black velvet. We do not know for sure. This is the first of these that we have had. The unframed black velvet picture is mounted on white card stock paper. The picture scene is of a house on a beach with trees, plants sky, birds, and a mountain or volcano in the background. The actual black velvet picture area measures 13-1/2'' x 9-3/4''. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured. At the top left, there appears to be a few tiny pieces gone, but you have to look very close to notice them. |
