| | | | The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Signed Marjorie Foote Dress Fashion Paintings in this lot. These two appear to be first drawn in pencil and ink and then painted. The illustrations are in color on a heavy off white paper. It is unknown what these were created for and they are not dated. Both of them have a tiny Marjorie Foote signature in the lower right corner. Below the women the are also marked as follows: Schiaparelli
Tea Gown One of these is slightly larger. The larger one measures 7-1/2'' x 13-3/8''. The left one appears to be in excellent condition. The right one has some creasing and tiny holes as pictured. |
