| | | | The picture shows a front and back view of this 1883 Womans Relief Corps Medallion. It appears to be made of bronze or copper. The front has an image of a Soldier & Sailor shaking hands with a woman and child in the foreground. Around them is a ring of stars. It reads: "Womans Relief Corps 1883". The back of the medal reads: "Patented May 4, and Sept. 28, 1886." It measures 1-5/8" tall counting the loop. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
