| | | | The picture below shows two larger views of this Old Carved Wooden Block & Tackle or Pulley Key Chain. We do not know why these pulleys were made, or if they were put on the key ring to keep them together, but it does look like a nice nautical keyring. These are not dated and the year that they were made is unknown. They are not marked and the maker is also unknown. The wooden sections appear to be carved. They were made with brass nails, brass wheels inside for rope to ride on, and a steel loop. To judge the sizes the pulleys each measure about 1'' x 2'' x 3/4''. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
