| | | | The picture shows this Large RARE Old Lowneys Chocolates Dealer Sign. It is not dated, but is believed to be from the 1920's. This is a very colorful thick heavy cardboard sign. The sign is made to be folded in half. My guess is that it was used for trade shows, candy shows, or fairs. On the back there is an easel section on both sides. It has the famous Lowney's Signature logo and is marked as follows: RELIABLE...

AUTHORIZED DEALER The Walter M. Lowney Company was out of Boston, Massachusetts, Montreal, and Sherbrooke, Canada. When opened, as pictured, the sign measures 29-1/2" x 19-1/2". It is in very good condition. There are some minor scuff marks and edge wear as pictured, and on the back there is overall age spotting. The center seam is separating by a few inches at the top and bottom, but this is not visible when opened and displayed. It would be great framed! |
