The picture shows a view of all (17) Old Black & White Christmas Photographs in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s. These are all pasted to the front and back of a scrap book type page. These have images of a few African American boys, probably brothers at Christmas. In some of them the boys are dressed up like Pirates and they are playing with toy sabres, knives, and cap guns. Many of the photos have their Christmas tree with ornaments and other decorations. There are opened and unopened gifts under the tree. It is hard to see by the pictures below, but there is much detail in the photos. Some of the things that can be seen are: ornaments, a toy drum set with a rodeo cowboy on it, an early television set, a wall calendar, a toy clock, a wagon, a toy arcade like bowling game, shelf units with figurines, a fire place mantle with an oval mirror and flower vases, toy knives, a cap gun, a tin picnic basket, an Army fort playset, a clothes iron, a high chair, furniture, and much more. The photos each measure 3-1/2'' x 3-7/8''. They are in excellent condition and on old scarp book paper as pictured. |
