The darker area at the top is only a shadow. The plate was made by Kettlesprings Kilns of Alliance, Ohio for Hooper Advertising Service, of Albany, N.Y.. The plate has dark blue print on white ceramic. The large plate has (7) detailed images. These include the following: SCHENECTADY COUNTY 1809 (center emblem)
