The pictures show a view of all (5) 1940 New York City Visitor or Tourist Skyscraper Photograph Negatives in this lot. These were taken by someone who traveled from Melrose, Massachusetts to visit the 1939 - 1940 New York World's Fair. There is no copyright on these negatives. The black & white negative images were most likely taken from The Empire State Building. We are not sure of the date that the photos were taken, but we do know that they were developed on August 7th, 1940. They were found in an old photo developing envelope that they had been stored in that came from the Wyoming Pharmacy of Melrose, Massachusetts. The envelope is not included with this lot, but it is pictured for reference. It was dated August 7th, 1940. The negatives each measure 1-5/8'' x 1-5/8''. The slides appear to be in mint as made condition as pictured.
