The picture shows a view of this Old Metal Manhattan Day Ribbon or Badge Pin. This pin is not dated but it is old. We believe that it once held a ribbon and possibly a medal from the ''Manhattan Day'' that took place on October 21st of 1893 at the Columbian Exposition World's Fair in Chicago. This pin has a banner and two bars to slide a ribbon onto. Unfortunately we do not have the ribbon. The back has the original heavy pin. There are no marks on the back and the maker is unknown. This pin may be made of silver, but it has not been tested. It is marked as follows:

MANHATTAN
DAY

The front of this pin section measures 1-5/16'' wide. The picture is dark, but it appears to be in excellent condition as pictured.
