The picture shows top and bottom view of this Fancy Old Syroco Wood Tea Cup & Saucer Display Stand. The display is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s or earlier. It is made of a compressed and molded wood saw dust type material. A cup would sit on the round area and a saucer plate would stand behind it hooked at the bottom with the scroll designs. It is marked on an old foil sticker on the bottom as follows:

SYRACUSE ORNAMENTAL CO. INC.
SYROCO WOOD
REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.
SYRACUSE, N.Y.
MADE IN U.S.A.
PATENT PENDING

The display stand measures about 3-1/4'' x 4-3/8'' x 1''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
