The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Colorful Old Edgar Bergen Mortimer Snerd Television Character Hand Puppet Doll. There is only one puppet included here. Mortimer Snerd was a Marionette puppet of Edgar Bergen, but this is a smaller children’s hand puppet. He is not dated but the smiling puppet is believed to be from the 1950s. He is also not marked, that we can see, and the maker is unknown. Mortimer had a painted rubber head and a red & white striped vinyl body. On his ball cap is a baseball, baseball glove, and a baseball bat. The the old toy puppet measures about 8-1/4'' x 11'' x 2-3/8''. It appears to be in good used condition as pictured.. The vinyl could use a cleaning.
