| The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Small Old Bisque or Porcelain Black Outhouse Scene Figurine. The figurine is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1920s or 1930s. Most of the paint color is gone, but there are traces of black, red, and turquoise blue. The outhouse has no door. There is a young black boy in the outhouse, and another waiting outside to use it. It is marked on two sides of the base as follows: ONE MOMENT PLEASE
JAPAN The figurine measures about 1-3/4'' x 2-3/4'' x 1''. Aside from the missing pain, it appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. It can be easily re-painted if desired. |
