They have a 1957 patent date. The cars appear to be made of diecast aluminum and they are each painted a different color. These have plastic rolling wheels with metal axles. Included is a Diesel Engine, a Tanker car, a Coal car, a Boxcar, and a Caboose. They are each marked on the bottom as follows: MIDGETOY
