| | | | The pictures below show larger top and bottom views of all (6) Old Metal Midgetoy U.S. Navy & U.S. Air Force Bomber & Jet Military Airplanes in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s, or 1960s. They are made of painted metal, and four of them have black rubber wheels, with metal axles. There are (2) bomber planes and (4) jet planes. Two of the engines on the bombers have fallen off, but one is still included. Two of the sets of wheels ( green jet & one bomber) have also fallen off. There is a tail tip on the Navy jet that is missing. The planes are marked “USAF” on the wings except the blue jet. That one is marked with a star and “NAVY”. These are also marked on the bottoms as follows: MIDGETOY
ROCKFORD, ILL. U.S.A. All six of these U.S. military airplanes for one price! To judge the sizes the bombers each measure about 3-7/8'' x 4-3/8'' x 3/4''. These appear to range from fair to excellent condition as pictured, and described above. All of them have some paint wear from playing. The two silver jets have the least amount of wear. |
