The picture shows three views of this Old Celluloid Clam Shell Miniature Japanese Scene. It is not dated but believed to be from the 1930s. It is made entirely of celluloid. The top of the shell has a scene with a mountain, a Japanese building, a bridge, a tree and shrubery.

The inside has a scene made up of miniatures. There is a building, two grass huts, two fences a boat, a basket, fish, three ducks, and four people. There may have been one more person at one time. The bottom of the shell has a paper label that reads ''FOREIGN''.

It measures 3'' wide and appears to be in excellent condition.
