It has a nice design both front and back. There is a metal clasp on one side and a hinge on the other. There is a metal wire easel so it can stand up. It has an original old light bulb. The light has been tested and it does work with two AA batteries (not included). The picture shows the side that is marked. It pictures a Centaur with a bow and arrow and it is marked as follows: CHASE
