| | | | The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Pierced Wood Ladies Hand Fans in this lot. The year that these fans were made are unknown. They are not marked and the maker is unknown. The fans are made of what appears to be imprinted silk, or a thin silk like material. They both have flowers. The flowers on the pink one have more detail on the other side. The sticks are made of pierced wood or bamboo. There is a metal pin or rivet at the bottom and there are two different metal loops. The fans each measure 9'' long. The pink one appears to be in mint condition as pictured. The green one has one broken stick and a tiny hole near it. |
