| | | | The picture shows a view of this 1929 Flume Lodge Franconia Notch White Mountains New Hampshire Post Card. The post card was published by The Atkinson News Company of Tilton, New Hampshire. It has a colorful image of the old Lodge with mountains in the background. There is also an early automobile with people. There are also people on the front porch as well. It is unknown if this lodge still exists. On the postcard the title is overprinted. The wording under the overprint reads ''THE FLUME HOUSE, FRANCONIA NOTCH, N.H.''. The newer print reads as follows: WHITE MTS., N.H.

FRANCONIA NOTCH The postcard is postmarked 1929 from Franconia, New Hampshire. It has a neatly written message and was mailed to a South Tamworth, New Hampshire address. There is a Bejamin Franklin one cent postage stamp. The postcard measures 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. It is in excellent used condition. |
