Douglas   Candy   Candies   Chocolate   Confection   Food   Advertising   Salesman   Post Card   Dog
The picture shows a view of both sides of thid Old Unused Douglas Candy Advertising Salesman Post Card. The card is not the yellow color as seen in the picture. This was from the lighting when the picture was taken. The top image has the correct color. This postcard is not dated but it is old. It pictures a dog in a trap. The card was meant to be filled out by a salesman but it is unused. The address side has an imprinted Benjamin Franklin two cent stamp. It is marked on the back side as follows:

IT'S THE SAME OLD TALE BUT IT STILL HOLDS GOOD!
DOUGLAS' CANDIES
ARE MADE ESPECIALLY FOR THE MOST DISCRIMINATING TASTES.
I'LL SEE YOU ___________
______________ DOUGLAS' SALESMAN

The post card measures 5-1/2'' x 3-1/4''. It is in near mint unused condition as pictured.
