| | | | The picture shows a view of this Old Unused Desert of Maine Advertising Souvenir Mother Locket Pin. The pin is not dated but it is old. The maker is unknown. This would have been purchased at the gift shop at the Desert of Maine. The ''Mother'' pin and the book locket charm appear to be made of brass. The cover of the book charm has a mother of pearl or abalone shell layer that has hand painted flowers and the ''DESERT OF MAINE'' imprint. Inside the hinged locket (not pictured) are two oval frame sides to put photographs of loved ones. The back of the locket also has a nice design as well. To judge the sizes the book locket charm, not counting the loop, measures about 13/16'' x 1''. It is in mint unused condition as pictured. |
